Still sitting with some of it, but overall—I think I liked it. Not blown away, but definitely intrigued. It’s not your run-of-the-mill spy flick, and honestly, that is where it shines :ehh:

My guy Elliot/Rami gon always do his 1-2 in that detached, calculated role—same kind of fsociety energy.

Luv to see my guy **** McCallany (Mindhunter) byke on dat no-nonsense agent energy :demonic:

Morpheus might be :flabbynsick: now, but he still can play that mentor role well even tho the decision at the end for him was kind of a confusing choice.

Jon Bernthal popped up and did his thing—even if it was for like 2 secs. I’m honestly surprised he keeps taking roles this minor given the résumé :patrice:

It was an interesting choice to have da creh do what he did wit da killer but I guess there had to be sum redemption.

Pool scene—probably the highlight of the film. Wish they didn't show it in the trailer :aicmon:

Clearly they angling for the sequel though.

Gonna check it tomorrow. It’s like Hollywood just finished their Mr. Robot binge. I thought Rami would’ve been leaning into these type of thriller roles more once that piff ended.

He’s such a one note actor

It works (for him) tho lol.

One of the reasons why The Little Things is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me even tho a good chunk of people ain't really f wit it like that. I liked his contrast compared to Goatzel's charisma.

In any case, anybody involved wit Mr. Robot gonna get the perpetual checc from me just like shows like The Wire, The Shield, Breaking Bad etc. Gon always give shyt a look off the strength.

No diff than certain action mfs who do 1 or 2 things really well and that's itol

Bernthal is a true professional/seems to like to stay sharp. I rock with him

Glad you got some enjoyment out of it. I tried to run that one back again and…yeah lol, still wasn’t working for me. Once Leto popped up, it was wraps even more-so. The Middemic was the STRUGGLE.

You right tho, some dudes just know their bread and butter roles. Nic Cage got a whole thread dedicated to him because of it and most of us fukks with bro for his efforts, no matter how schlocky the turn-out. :pachaha:

I mean, don't get me wrong it's a flawed movie but idk..... I'll sit and watch it when it comes on TV most times just off the vibes along. And I think Rami's one-note style & delivery worked perfectly for his emotionally detached character slowly watching himself turn into Denzel/the obsessed detective who has to deal with the weight of something not having an exact resolution. I think once I put down the expectation that it was gonna be S7ven 2.0 or even Diet S7ven, I was able to enjoy it a bit more.

The pandemmy also gave me another one of my guilty pleasure with Tenet which caught a lot of flack also :ahh:
