Street Fighter, NBA 2k, Bloodborne, BF, Batman, Far Cry, Uncharted etc threads would go there.

General news threads and shyt would still stay here so brehs don't have to worry about missing out on pertinent info as they drop. Idk.. I'm just trying to think of something. I hate to bring Gaf into this but their off-topic gaming discussion board does this well.

Too many random threads and shyt mixing up with game OT's making some good threads get lost in the mix.

I agree. It's a bytch having to go and search for old official game threads. Mods u sticky them shots like 2 weeks after the game comes out. Meanwhile the movie forum has like 7 stickied threads right now

I think for the most part the OT's for new popular games are pretty active, and usually stickied. but beyond that it's hard to get people to talk about shyt that doesn't contain some controversy, gossip, and/or console-wars spin

People do talk about games. That PS Vita thread is an example. Hell, I made a friggin official Persona thread and it got a lot of posters in it without trolls.

and that's kind of the issue with what you're suggesting. the only way to keep fukkery out of OT's would be heavy moderation, and most people around here (claim they) don't like that

Most OTs seem to be relatively troll free. Idk I think it'd reduce clutter and shyt. Dudes making threads like "yo what kind of cars go up hills in gta?"
