During the Jim Crow segregation era, we had do pay taxes for shyt we couldn’t use. We help fund white public schools and universities, GI bill benefits, federal loans and grants, the racist police departments and court system, parks, libraries and hospitals, which all practice segregation and racism. So not only were black people at a disadvantage, we help fund it.


So the federal government owes reparations off of the institution racism. And I guarantee you black people probably paid more in taxes than white people.

In addition, black people were paid less than their white counterparts to do the same job.

So it’s not about slavery. It’s all the bullshyt that happened after it.

You could defenitely do a tax rebate for people who paid into the system that they couldn´t use. You could literally trace everyone´s lineage from when they became a tax payer even figure out roughly what they paid and give their living decesendants that money plust interest.

What do you mean? This is like the only legit argument for Black reparations. Its clears the racial issue, since it focuses on individual taxpayers, not a race of people (white is currebtly illegal). It focuses on States since the Fed government did not have an official stance on slavery.

- House majority is near impossible given many states didn't participate in slavery
- the Senate rarely ever passes legislation that only benefits a handful of states
- a ws president would ever sign a reparation bill


Going back to the State route....The biggests issue with state focused reparation plans is that many of these slave states are already in the red. They would need to bankrupt themselves to pay us what they owe us. These same states are run by ws.

Whether its federally or locally, why should we expect ws to give us money for being the targets of their hatred?
