You're on to something breh because if you look at the angles (ignoring gravity), hack squat and leg press are doing very similar things but not exactly. The not exactly is why they both exist because real lifters get to the point where they went as far as they can with the big compound lifts they gotta start doing variations and pulleys and hitting different angles to start shocking the muscles again. If you think about it it's just a way to do an incline squat the way you do an incline bench press (reverse) or a preacher curl for your biceps with your arms fixed except your back is fixed (normal). Changing things up by angling/fixing going to lead to some kind of variation in where and how the work is being done.
For most of us, barbell bench and some lunges is about all we need. Then there's the leg press and the smith machine. This hack squat machine is for the pros and convenient if you have a bad back.

Its all a reaction to centuries of being objectified. If you understand the dynamics and the role(s) that women have been forced to play, in pretty much every known patriarchal society, then you'll understand and respect the assumptions being made in this video. I think its good if we, as men, start feeling more self conscious about the way in which we interact with women. Even if there is a small bit of fear that we may be "outed" on social media. I feel this way because it pales in comparison to the fear that some women feel when interacting with men.
