This is the issue when ranking players.

It goes without saying Melo is a better offensive anchor than a lot of those players ahead of him on that list, but that doesn't necessarily make him a better player and/or have more impact and/or have a career than them. Personally, I think Rodman is ridiculously overrated (particularly given how folks overvalue rebounds), but where he ranks is more to do with his contributions on title teams, rather than his basketball ability in relation to Melo's.
