Don't come in here whining like a bunch of bytches now. You nikkas have championed renting over owning for years on here ....While I have bought 2 houses in the last 8 years....:umad:
Somehow it never occurred to you that nobody is "championing" renting as inherently the better option, but rather that because of several other factors, it's the only option for most people.

Old dude at my job bought his first house in his late 50s after renting for all his life. He stacked his paper and lived within his means. Biggest house on his street, 3 car garage.

No kids by choice and he’s fukking the secretary.

Rent was cheaper back then though. It’s kinda of hard to do that now that rent is more expensive than average mortgage payment 10 years ago.

I am a home owner myself but I don't see this as a flex. There was a poster here bragging about the same thing, then went on to say that the houses were in Youngstown, OH and El Paso, TX, two of the biggest shyt holes in America. I also see people bragging about being home owners and living in a 1300 SQF house two blocks away from the hood.

STFU because I know what I have read posted on here since the majority of us migrated from Sohh in 2012. Housing prices didn't start ballooning until after the start of the pandemic, so cost wasn't a deterrent to a site full of 6 cert brehs before then...:camby:

Ah I see.

So you're saying that everyone should have been buying houses a few short years after the largest economic meltdown in 80 years.

Sounds reasonable.
