I remember reading a report in college (now this was in the late 2000's, early 2010s) that the average drug dealer with a few corners made about $32k a year. Adjusted for inflation and changed in product that's probably around $50k now. For the trouble and bullshyt you have to deal with, thats not fukking worth it.

To be fair, it was probably nikkas making 100K, 150K, and nikkas making 20K creating the average.

Then keep in mind that there's no tax, so they kept 100K rather than a 100K nikka bringing home 60K-70K after taxes.

Had no boss, no real hours to keep, etc.

Then keep in mind that they were 18, 19, 20, 21 years old. Their brains weren't developed enough to know it was stupid to ruin their life long-term over short-term money.

100% true. But also keep in mind costs. A 9 to 5 cat doesn't have costs to get his check (directly related to business, not a car note ect).
If the 100k cat doesn't have proper stash spot, security, money for re-up, etc. Then he's fukked. And that shyt costs your LIFE not just a career change.

And not to mention the 20k kids at the bottom. Is making less than entry level at Burger King worth your life or your freedom?
