CJ will show his worth next time Ingram misses a stretch. I have been asking Griffin to get insurance players and he finally did. Top two guys get hurt, team can stay afloat with CJ, Herb and JV rather than being the worse team

I'm amazed Pelinka didn't try and beat our offer for at least CJ on his own; I feel like the Lakers un-or very ligthly protected 2027 first >>>> the pick we technically don't even own yet because we traded it to Charlotte.
Does he really think there's better out there for that pick + THT and salary filler?

They basically traded 3/5 of the pick to Portland; 1/5 of it stays with us if we manage to luck into a top 4 spot in the lottery, and the last 1/5 of it is if it falls out of the lottery entirely, then Charlotte keeps it. Charlotte can technically trade the non-lottery part of it to another team if they wanted to.
I'm more worried about the passing, but I guess we'll just have Ingram and Point Zion to handle that.

If they're sending anyone else out it should only be Temple, Snell, or mayybe Graham; Nance is good, gives us some positional versatility in hypothetical playoff scenarios where someone like Jonas is getting played off the floor by an opposing PnR, and is on a dirt cheap contract. Griff finally made a good move, this fool better not fukk it up trying to do too much now.
