We only like 5 games out the 10 spot in November. That's not some astronomical defecit.
It's actually a reason why Im not huge on the play-in. The 9 and 10 seed IMO rewards average teams. It's like a participation trophy to me. But I think Zion is that good that if he plays like he was last year and JV keeps this up we can muster up enough wins to climb up
Just found out this was the very last game that'll ever be played at Staples before it gets renamed to that crypto bullshyt. We officially "The team that silenced Staples forever" after this

If they continue to go .500 till Zion comes back it is, 10th-7th seed is only 5-6 games and Pelicans should have an easier schedule coming up. They have been beating good teams in this stretch as well. They have had by far the toughest schedule and it will ease up moving forward

We've had a hard ass schedule plus no Zion and BI done missed like half the games
But we ain't bout to go on a few 5 game win streaks
I still think, at best, we're a mid 30's win team
We still shallow as fukk in the rotation
We legit DO NOT have a backup center

don’t get me wrong, that our goal in year 3 of this rebuild is a play in sucks, but it’s feasible currently with how the West is shaping out. I’m not gonna throw the team or DG a parade if that is our ceiling this year though.
We going from the hardest schedule to the easiest? Damn.

Griffin puts too much faith on his draftees. When instead he should be trying to build a deep team since this team suffers from injuries. One of the 4 main players get hurt and team falls apart, this been the case last 3 years
Inability or desire to build a bench after 3 season is a fireable offense. You got 3 all star caliber player, but NBA is an 8 player deep sport.
GSW rebuild for two years and turn into the deepest team in the league.
At some point... You have to move on bad moves and mythical trades with filler contract. You focusing on acquiring on realized talent.
