do you know who else had a broken foot in their 2nd season and came back late to get their team in the playoffs?

Zion is gonna be out for the season.

They aren't being honest about his injury.

He probably needs another surgery. Fam isn't even playing basketball, yet, and it's almost All-Star break. Something is wrong with him to be out this long.

"Beginning of the summer" was damn near a full year ago.

It's really not; look up NBA players with jones fractures/foot injuries in the past. Ben Simmons missed his entire rookie year because of one, KD's 2nd longest injury absence behind the achilles tear was because of a broken foot, etc. Anybody with half a clue knew that Griffin's "We hope to have him back for the season opener" was just a ploy to stop season ticket owners from cancelling en masse after hearing the news Zion was injured to start the season. If Zion comes back at any point this season his recovery will actually be on the faster side of things when it comes to the average recovery time from a broken/fractured foot for NBA players. It's only if this drags into NEXT season that I'd start to be seriously concerned about it.

I need to see this Willy with JV is playing.

Herb is a problem, of course.

This makes more sense.

End of the day; Zion ain't playing this year.

I don't get why y'all are getting so upset at these losses when literally all 3 of the roster's best players are out, in the middle of a 6 games in 9 days stretch no less.:pachaha:Did y'all get this pressed when Trevor Siemian couldn't lead the Saints to a playoff berth without Michael Thomas? :russ: Our pick this year belongs to Memphis but is protected 1-14; you should WANT the team to be losing so that we can keep it. There's a real chance this team could go into the offseason with 2 first round picks (LLLakers still can't get right even with AD byke :mjlit:) and the second cleanest cap sheet in the league behind shameless league-relegation worthy OKC. I know it sucks to punt on another year when the expectations were high coming into it... but when both of your all-stars have missed significant time (or ALL of it in Zion's case :snoop:) it's the best thing to do. When this team finally makes that leap from lottery to playoff team I want them to STAY there like the Nuggets and Suns have. Not be a one and done like Minny was the year they had Butler or we were in 2018 when we put all our eggs in the Boogie basket.

Dont worry, CJ Mccollum coming next week

Don't put that Urkel evil on my team. :mjcry: That fraud was getting punked by Facu Campazzo and got bounced out the first round last postseason. David Griffin might try and pretend it didn't happen but I won't be fooled. :mjcry::unimpressed:

I've overall been a big fan of how Willie's been running the ship so far this year... but his love affair with the "saavy vet" he obviously is projecting himself and his memories as a former player onto in Temple at the expense of TM3's minutes is my one big complaint. Unfortunately he got put in covid protocols the day after he dropped 33 in Birmingham so I think that's why he isn't available still. Hopefully he'll be out of them soon, there's no excuse to not be playing him now otherwise :snoop:

Griffin is desperate:sas2:I would much rather him just get better bench players, the starting five has proved they are good

Bruh... They so delusional and saying draft picks ain't shyt.

I get that draft picks we get ain't shyt, because we never tank.

No man's land.

We get ourselves in the top 6

Buddy Heild, Chris Paul, Anthony Davis, and Zion. Two of those times was lottery magic.

When Zion and BI turn 27 years... Draft picks aren't as helpful, but we still in position to strike gold and grow a core together. Take advantage of the shytty circumstances and strike gold on a really good draft.

I ain't for tank. We don't have to tank.

I just don't want to overachieve and game a bunch of wins against non-playoff teams that are clearly soft tanking.

I'd like the idea...

Griff gets fired.

Thats it. I'm happy. Lol

Draft Jaden Ivey
Sign and Trade for Patty Mills with Steven Adams trade exception
Sign Bobby Portis, Serge Ibaka, or Montrezl Harrell

I personally don't like the fit with Fox trade, but he's such a good cultural fit and if everything can make him less dependent on his 3pt shooting. I think we have the support system to maximize Fox.

Ship out Kira, NAW, Hart, and the bottom depth

Fox Graham Jose
Ivey Mills
Ingram Jones TM3
Zion (Serge/Montrezl/Portis)
Jonas Hayes

I would say he gets one more year regardless of the outcome, Zion being out and Herb/Willie Green being this good bought him some time.

Fox would be cool even though he cant shoot but I don't think Pelicans can match Kings asking price. Kings still want to compete so draft picks don't mean much for them.

I think McCollum or Powell are more realistic since Blazers Anfernee Simons is gonna need starting mins moving forward.

I just want him to get a point guard and replace anyone with Temple. Temple has been a negative all season, shame Trey Murphy cant take his mins

Man... There is no top shelf PG in this draft either.

Jaden Ivey is strictly a SG that can pocket pass really well.

So we can try to trade for...

Brogdon
Dragic
Sexton
Rubio
Colby White

It's a bad time to need a PG. League wide issue.
