95% of the time when nikkas try to give you mechanic advice they have no idea wtf they’re talking about and end up making you waste money buying some shyt at the store :mjlol:

Not to mention the time diccin around with them could’ve been used to get your car in the shop earlier thus getting it fixed quicker

Take it from me, something wrong with your car just go to a reputable mechanic asap

low key true though.

Long story short someone tells me my dead battery sounded like the alternator was bad. I knew my battery was way beyond it’s life. I also know about cars.

Had battery tested to confirm and replaced it. No issues since.

The problem is most people give advise without inspection which generally doesn’t work.

Get car insurance and get mechanical breakdown insurance. Also buy a reliable car like Toyota.

Don’t get an extended warranty unless it’s bumper to bumper if they show a a bunch of stuff the warranty covers it’s a bad warranty.

If your car is 8+ years old, buy a sophisticated ECU scanner so you can pull the codes your damn self and research more about the problem. Don’t buy anything lower than $99 they’re usually crap and don’t give you enough information. A lot of mechanics charge a diagnostic fee and it’s usually expensive as hell. Save the money and learn your car yourself.

If you buy a BMW because of the logo and the cool status that come with it then you deserve everything that's coming to you

Facts. I'll tell people what i think may be wrong based off all the issues i had with my previous vehicle, but i also tell them that it could be that, or another thing, or something you never even knew was possible. But ion know shyt so take that bytch to a mechanic asap kuz you don't want to wait too long and have to come up off even more money or possibly lose the entire vehicle.

And that battery/alternator shyt with my first car used to piss me off. Old schools at the store say it's either one, but luckily i worked with a expert mechanic and already knew them nikkas was wrong. Type of dude you can tell him what it's doing over the phone and he already knows what the problem is. Learned a lot but I'm still sending anybody else to a mechanic, kuz I'm not one
