Spider-Man vs Green Goblin in the first Raimi movie. Brutal, practical fx as much as they could. All while still feeling very much like a cartoon or comic book. You can almost see the sfx printed out in some of the shots. Each hit feels like it’s own page :



Iirc Raimi said they actually had to tone down the violence in post that on orders from the studio. Peter was spitting up blood originally not spit.

Not bad but the SFX messes it up for me. I mean real good fight scenes. The Nolan Batman ones are some of the worst (horrible camera takes)

I know we said comic books but when i hear best fight scene I come in here expecting to see The Raid or The Raid 2.

yeah, Winter Soldier is def a top 3 comic movie.
the fight scene @morris posted was wildly unrealistic
even by comic standards. i will give them props for
Frank getting in the bathtub to survive the grenade.
It's a callback to how he survived the hit on his home
that killed his family. other than that it's trash.
