What’s your favorite gaming combo. Mine is a PS5 and gaming laptop. I know I’ll get cussed out for it but I got a console for stationary gaming also it’s better for local multiplayer ain’t no one trying to play local mutiplayer on PC. Gaming laptop it’s portable and good for single player and online multiplayer gaming and more of personalized gaming experience. I know nikkaz going to hate on the fact a nikka gaming on a laptop but it is what it is. I gotta console for tv gaming.

What’s yall favorite Combo?

Right now, PS5 and Steam Deck. I can do almost anything, play any library I want with it.
That’s a good combo too. If I wasn’t so gamepad driven I would do this. Also can the steam deck play almost every game on steam because I see that some games don’t and need to be verified?

It's around 65-75% of steam games. That's about how many they officially have listed as Deck compatible. There's a good 15% or so that say unverified, with a toss up of if they work or not. Most of those still work, but they're not quite without issues. Then there's at least a good 10% that outright don't work and are completely listed as Non Compatible.

Funny too, as some aren't even that crazy specs dependent either. It's just random luck on some that outright don't work or are problematic. I have one game on there called 'Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan' that is old as hell and it's just a lil 2d animated action rpg and it doesn't load up at all. Just straight black screen on the deck.

Yea this is why I lean more to a gaming laptop. I know for many it’s not ideal for portability gaming but the power can go further than a steam deck and also I have a 4tb external hdd, and two 2tb ssds externals along with a 1tb internal ssd worth of games which wouldn’t be to feasible on a deck.

I have a brand new laptop as well, but it's a macbook, so I already know my mileage will vary there, so I mostly don't even bother with gaming on there.

For sure you got a deck and PS5 for that. Me only Apple product I have is an iPhone. Even though people don’t fukk with windows I’m always going to do a windows laptop because in terms of gaming there is no limitations and almost every single program works on it.

All the non verified games I've tried were playable, but you would have to use the trackpad for things and configure controller settings yourself

I wouldn't say every game. Some require a mouse and keyboard (obviously) and some are just too powerful. For the ones are too powerful, like Starfield, I use gamepass and it works great.

As a test I did get Wow to work, took some time and some mods but I have it working perfectly on the deck. The two tochpads are game changing.
