Let's get a respectable list going, please. No wack shyt. No posts from some popular wack rapper in your country just because he's from your country. I'm talking about stuff that you love and has been vetted. The CLASSIC shyt. From any era to present. Present your best foot forward. And no more than 3 tracks.
Let's get it in!
I'll start it off with some MC Solaar. Honestly, this guy is the best non-English rapper I've ever heard. He dropped what is widely regarded as one of the best French hip hop records in history, "Prose Combat". I would argue that it's one of the best hip hop albums ever recorded. It came out in 1994 when competition was STIFF and still manages to be one of the best from 1994. It doesn't matter if you understand French or not. Solaar's flow is so superb and the beats so atmospheric that you can just vibe out.
Picking one track to showcase a mega-classic is impossible. But this is probably the most boom bap track on the album. Even if you're not crazy about this joint, I urge you to check out the whole album.
Next we travel to Japan. Don't know much about this dude but apparently he's a Japan OG. So much so that he got a Premo beat in Premo's prime years.
You'll notice the flow is deadly.
Lastly, we travel to Slovakia (?) for something more recent. I dunno where dude's from but I always thought the track was hard as fukk. Heads will recognize a classic sample but it's flipped in a different way. He also ended up working with Premo but their track together was throwaway.
