I think they really wanted to trade him but got greedy thn got desperate. I don't think this ever happens again though. It's become clear Shanahan's system is also WR friendly. If you have a around 4.5 or better speed, is a willing blocker and a good route runner you can be schemed open.

I think he's an idiot with the WRs. There is no reason to not have a tall dominate WR. It's like the big eared Goof Troop hates tall WR

I get what you are saying but in fairness our most productive receivers are have been between 5'11 and 6'1. Not the tallest but not that short either. Jauan is 6'3 and while that causes matchup problems at times he also isn't a burner. I don't think being 6'3+ matters as much in this particular system because we are not really a vertical offense. We've had big pass catchers flame out more often than not.

It definitely matters. This is why they have been ass in the redzone for so many years. You need that big body down there. Also for jump balls. Can help Purdy not throw picks.

3 INTs is pretty alarming though. I can wave off one maybe even 2 but 3 can't happen again this season.

He threw 4 against the Ravens and bounced back. Darnold just threw 4 INTs a couple weeks ago and bounced back. One game doesn't mean much.

I will say what I said last week. If we can't beat the Browns then we don't deserve to be in the playoffs at all. I don't care about the weather, we are playing a team going nowhere and a team that can't even figure out who they want at QB. We have a running game, we need to use it today.
