On the latest episode of his new podcast Conversation with the Big Guy, former WWE star Ryback reveals that he applied to legally change his name to “Ryback Alan Reeves”.

Ryback notes that this week’s episode, uploaded today, was recorded in advance, and he was scheduled to appear in court on September 1st about the name change. He said there is a precedent as there are other people named Ryback, and he is confident about the process being easy.

Ryback says the name is part of his brand and it was something he created, and it was not done to get over on anyone or for any reason besides wanting to own his identity. He says he will still be referred to as ‘Ryan’ but this is something that just needed to be done.
