i think part of the allure about this movie, at least for me, is the dude's lifestyle. i mean who wouldnt want to live like that? dude doesnt work, lives in sunny cali, smokes doobies all day, drinks white russians , and hangs out every night at the bowling alley. thats pretty much it. simple as shyt. u can tell he doesnt have a lot of money (lol at writing the check for like 29 cents) but hes happy with it and seems comfortable.

As a whole the movie was always just cool to me. There are some very funny scenes but not in my top 5.
Jeff bridges is funny tho. Weird movie as well.
