What do you mean?
No one in either group was ever a great rapper.
Erick was a dope producer,so was manny.
Epmd sold 3mil and some change from 7 projects released over 10 years.
Tymers sold around 3 mil from 4 1/2 projects over 5 years.
Makes sense.
Both producers from each clique put on and was responsible for other acts that had success.

i dont agree but the people in here calling the OP crazy, are saying off the wall stuff themselves.

anyway. yea, fresh is the better producer, the tymers had a better singles collection and i find the big tymers more entertaining. and wait for it........a case can be made that "i got that work" is the best album between the 2 groups.

BUT and this is a big ass but........EPMD has 3 classics and 1 near-classic. big tymers cant f*ck with that.

so yea, i have to vote for EPMD, who i also rank as the goat rap duo.
