Curt Hennig:

  • Main even level star in the E, yet was just a lackey in NWO
  • Most memorable WCW push was "texas rednecks" routine
  • Had the mic skills, in ring skills and charisma to be a world champ

Scott Hall:

  • Was almost the most over guy in the E when he left
  • More prominent NWO guy, was the guy who kicked off the whole movement
  • Had the complete package yet wasn't allowed to make an impact that wasnt NWO related

Hall and it's not even close. .. dude honestly SHOULD have been a world champ in both the WWE and WCW at some point.

Henning was solid in WCW but he was obviously outside of his prime and was basically turning back the clock here and there, now in the E yeah had he not hurt his back I don't know how you avoid giving him a run with the strap in the early 90's.

Curt Hennig hands down. Went from something really great in the E to just a normal ass dude in WCW. Scott Hall was in the NWO idgaf he wasn't wasted.

Curt was many years passed his prime in WCW. Hall was still mega over at his drunkest. He wasted his talent heavily in WCW

If Hall woulda stayed in WWF he woulda became World Champ at some point, him and HBK probably revisit their feud in 97' with Hall going over, I think Hall probably gets that push that Sid got when Shawn was gone for most of the year after "losing his smile". Fact is, Hall simply got lazy when going to WCW with the guaranteed money, the creative control and limited number of dates as did Nash to a lesser extent. I remember weeks would go by when neither would wrestle just do promo work, WCW's loose structure behind the scenes and lack of holding their main guys accountable hurt Hall ALOT.

Henning's back was all messed up if I recall, so he was pretty much past his prime by his NWO days.

Hall and Nash IMO we're both wasted in WCW after their initial excitement of being there. They never had any great matches of notoriety like they did in WWF
