I don't believe that people have an issue with successful people providing advice to the people-
I think the issue here is that the majority of these folk are simply hustling our community (whom are struggling financially as is) under the guise of 'financial literacy'.

The irony, considering damn near every black woman in the world paid to go see Beyonce….Roots picnic tix were about $200….broccoli City fest about $250. Black culture is as materialistic and frivolous with money as it’s ever been. Folk have shown time n time again the money is there. We went from fubu and phat farm to Balenciaga and “Gallery Department”, Rhude….$300-$500 T SHIRTS
I don’t wanna hear shyt about the price

This event is providing skills, knowledge, and behaviors. Especially BEHAVIORS. Simply going to the festival and making a concerted effort to talk money is a behavior, it IS financial literacy. Literacy is not expertise. Their barometer is simply to foster education, which they have
Again, if I was in a position to help the black community? I would not.
