He's a right wing leaning centrist his entire life and He's sorrounded himself with likeminded individuals giving him daily doses
of terrible centrist advice.

He still views the fascist maga party as a legitimate political party that's open to good faith bipartisanship after
everything we have witnessed over the last 6 years.

He's set in his ways and absolutely nothing can change that, not loss of democracy, not right wing open fascism, not loss of women's reproductive rights
Not extreme voter suppression, nothing.

I hope dems and left leaning independent take this as a cautionary tale moving forward.

Truth be told he just doesn't have the numbers on his side, afraid to nuke the filibuster, and leery of losing the House this fall. A rock and a hard place he's in between. I don't envy him. He's not in a position to not negotiate.
How can anyone blame a president that shows this level of awareness, urgency and strength that this moment calls for:troll:

Cherry picking on your part. After all we've seen the past two years, that's all you got?

We have seen him show nothing but incredible weakness in response to Manchin and sinema party disloyalty

We have seen him continue to revere the GOP and view them as a legitimate political party instead of what they actually are
i.e a fascist, racist cult that's terrorizing the nation from supreme court to state legilastion

We have seen him reject the idea of expanding the court

We have seen him reject the idea of nuking the fillibuster outright, and the only times He's shown support for removing the fillibuster
for specific purpose, has come after He initially rejected it then succumbed to some public pressure

We have seen him govern and do literally everything based on how the bad faith republican politicians and voters would view it "we don't
want bad faith actors to see our actions as radical"

Democrats are basically about to be in the same position Republicans were after 2012. The L they took radicalized them. Thats when you started getting memes like 'cuckservative' it set the stage for a more extreme candidate to get voted in.

The next democrat president is likely going to be a total outsider like Trump was. I don't know who it will be, but it will likely be a celebrity or CEO with a lot of money who is smart enough to leave the hard decisions to the experts after consulting with them.

And in local elections celebrities might start taking a shot. Matthew McConaughey seems to be getting really comfortable with being political. If he ran in Texas he might actually win a position.

Democrats have shown when they have power they dont want to use it or literally may just be too incompetent to. They've shown that this is a game to them, and that the consequences for their lack of action isn't a big deal to them. I still remember when they were trying to hold up the corona stimulus check because Trump was putting his name on them. Who gives a fukk whose name was on that shyt if it meant the difference between having food to eat next month or begging for donations. People who were poor 40+ years ago or never in their lives don't understand the gravity of something like a stimulus check for a struggling family so they feel comfortable saying 'but he's putting his name on them!' Like that is a legitimate concern.

Honestly I don't think the mainstream media that influences presidential candidacies will allow for a radical or progressive to ever become dem nominee or president

Don't forget that all the executives and CEO's of major news networks and print media are conservatives and they are the ones setting the agenda for what viewers actually consume.

Take Msnbc for example, They are suppose to be this liberal friendly media, yet majority of their analyst and political commentators are either right wing or
centrist e.g joe scarbrough,Mika Brzezinski,chuck todd,Andrea mitchell,Nicole wallace, Mick mulvaney etc
