kids curse like its nothing.

Growing up in the 80's as a youth kids barely cursed and when they did other kids would be like .

90's and 2000's babies on the other hand have integrated that shyt in their everyday vocabulary like the alphabet. Can barely formulate complete sentences but curse like its nothing. It transcends race and income status.

Did Hip Hop really do that or did what the kids hear around the grown folks do that?? R rated movies did exist before Hip Hops popularity and kids were cursing all in my school during teh 80's when pop, rock and R&B were still bigger then Hip Hop.

That's exactly what it is. Cursing is more prevalent in this generation than any other. Not only is there cursing in music but now there's cursing on regular tv (non cable) shows, video games, YouTube clips that kids are attracted to, social media...

I remember me and my brother were in Target a few years ago looking at some laptops and these three random white kids walked up to us and asked us if we'd "cop or drop" one of the laptops. They struck up a conversation with us and when my brother told them that he was in college, they asked him if there were a lot of bytches at his school. None of them looked like they were over 8 years old

I'm an 80s baby, and cursed like a sailor since at least the 1st grade...I went to school in Alabama that year and remember my cousin and random classmates being , and at the shyt i said on the regular lol

Their parents were still in the "rebel against authority" stage, so they didn't give a shyt about their kids reciting the lyrics to whatever shyt they heard.

They were still kids. No right from wrong, just "its cool cause the adults don't like it and I'm grown now".

You aren't really an adult until you stop wishing to be seen as an adult or you aren't pretending to be grown.

Kids raising kids. Or even worse, kids having kids to raise their kids.
