First of all, im an out of touch cornball who just today, listened to mc lytes entire catelogue that i got on vynil fishing for good lines to sample.
but most of all, i feel alot of these new guys come in the game with no intention of being the best at anything, and then the guys who say they are the best never defend their title. What i mean by this is that there is no "arena of rap" where dude are going one on one with a previous era to take the crown, dudes admitedly would rather tweet it out or hit up their favorite blogger than go song for song. This is why i enjoyed the idea of meek mill vs cassidy, there is a sense of trying to maintain a sense of pride in what you do.
I hate this "im too good to respond" i can understand some lame ass no name who no one gives a shyt about, but when a real nikka is taking a shot at you, why not defend yourself instead of being and acting pompous about it?

how did we allow this shyt to go unchecked? honestly? Someone like sean price should be able to openly challange that shyt and let it be known that it aint true, but we dont see that on the highest levels of rap.
Thats why im out of touch and a old nikka whos lame and nostalgic. I realize rap has passed me by. While im a musician myself, i just wish rappers would defend themselves and vie for something more than sucking each others dikk on the mic like everybody is a fukking friend.
