The Opposite Of Elliott Wilson's Mohawk
1) The guy who is committed to his business will eat you alive. Maybe your business has different goals.
While you are working for someone else...the true entreprenuer is building a company that will sell for a healthy multiple.
He is gaining marketshare and commanding premiums while hiring the best talent to replace himself. Maybe you don't care
All I care about is income. My business generates a satisfactory secondary income for me. U seem to feel that the point of business is to destroy all competition and grow explosively. I just want more money.

2) I've had that avi from the 2nd week I signed up here. So ?

3) With a job you will always trade your time for money, with a business. It can actually buy you time to do whatever you really want to do it.
Maybe so, maybe no. But it seems pretty stupid to judge what a business CAN do vs what a job actually does. Most business owners work a lot.... most of the time a lot more than a worker.

I don't look down on people with jobs, some people aren't cut out for business (clearly)
Why cant you stop being a passive aggressive coward and just admit you look down on people with jobs and stop trying to pretend to be objective?

Building an autonomous company >>>>>>> working at a job.
Giving yourself a pay raise >>>>>> working at a job
Freedom to build more companies >>>>>>>>> working at a job
Giving more to charitable causes >>>>>>>>working at a job
Creating jobs >>>>>>>working at a job
Most companies arent autonomous. Businesses, like the people they employ, are subject to the markets they serve- i.e. being a business owner doesnt grant you the magic power of giving yourself a pay raise. Plus you have negotiating power as an employee that you can leverage if you derive value for your company. Ive done it and have seen it done many times. Wifey got a 60% raise one year. Working a job doesnt keep you from building more companies, my dad built many while also working a few jobs. Workers can give to charities and do. And I run, pitch and oversee a lot of projects at my job, making decisions that will create millions of dollars of work for contractors. Im sure you will argue "you couldnt do that without the business"... but the business needs people to run it. Again its a two way street and exchange of goods/services.

I can't even name a single good thing about working at a job but that's fine. I get it.
Most people need security and their lives to be put into order.
Thats cause youre an insecure prick who refuses to accept other people's points of view, because you are scared that acknowledging any path but the one you chose invalidates it. The very fact that you are trying to prove that working a job is for suckers speaks for itself... if u were 100% confident in the choices u made u wouldnt feel the need to validate them (or try and impress nikkas with that cheesy ass avi)

But Imma let u cook :skip: :biggapls:

I'm in business to give maximum value and enrich myself enough to give to causes I care about and do what I want.
Explosive growth and gobbling up competition enables that not secondary income streams working at a job.

The good thing about consulting is you get to deal with various industries outside your own and you get to fix and implement growth.

There are companies that run autonomously, there are businesses which aren't subject to just the market they serve, they can
create new products and services for new markets and also form strategic partnerships with other companies. Some owners get this
and most don't, They end having these limiting beliefs and sh!tty growth or stagnant for years, or bankrupt.

I'd brag about the companies my underlings have started and bought and sold but it would trump your wifes growth % wise.
Point is could your wife achieve triple digit growth year on year as an employee ? That's the difference.
Not only that but someone else has to award her that growth in income.

No arguments here, you employed by a boss to do your job. That's fine. It's just not for me

Maybe I am insecure perhaps but i'm younger, single and also wealthier. Your viewpoints are that of an employed, married man who probably has
different ideals and experiences and that's fine by me. You go run, p!tch and manage your projects for a risk taking entreprenuer like me (unless you work for govt)
while your business farts along in mediocrity.

It's not a zero-sum game, I just don't like half-assing stuff and like maximum output for maximum potential.

If I wanted to stunt on n!ggaz I'd do much, much, much better than a car I gave to my sister as a graduation present :usherlol:

Well those drop outs are still on the alumni mailing list and mingle like they're alumni. They probably have honorary degrees too
