You pay attention to the entire beginning or nah?
They covered him starting in the clubs and then managing folks. Then they went back and talked about him not knowing his father, his relationship with his mother, almost killing his step father then bouncing to NJ.

I did pay attention.
The thing they said some White guy told him he should be agent and he was like sure what ever.
They skipped between him being a kid to him going to New Jersey to him being an agent/manager.
I watched the movie last night, and thought that it was really well done.
The breakup with Bill Withers was messed up. I hated watching business come between family.
