Hmm....look him up. Paul Birdsong.
I honestly can't say....
But let's be realistic....
Is there anyone bold enough to stand up to oppression without pushback or controversy.
Like....can we look up to anyone?
If I came out and said fụck the pigs with an assault rifle, ya'll nıggas would be calling me a coón and looking up my background of when I got bullied in jhs when I'm deadass.
This is why I can't take y'all serious because there's nıggas that would die for a cause and y'all won't think shıt of em til they died.
Let's be real. It's time to standup. I may not agree with his points 100%....shıt but if I jumped in and did this for a cause if they started attacking FBA, don't put a camera or mic in my face, let me just do me. I rather die for something than live a pụssy.
I'm drinking and this shıt got me pissed. Let's let the nıgga get time.

Don’t forget the drugs. In her book Assata Shakur said the Panthers were at their most effective when they were focused on what was going on in the Black community. She said when Huey and them got off into that internationalism bullshyt and talking about the "negation of the negation" is when they lost the people and things went downhill after that.
I've read Huey's autobiography, most of his speeches, and a good deal of the material on him, and she's right. Once he got off into the communism and seeing himself as part of some global revolutionary struggle is when alotta that shyt just stopped making sense.

Refuge in Cuba is just refuge in Cuba. It not necessarily any sign of internationalism. She might've found refuge in any number of places, it's not like America is beloved around the globe. You're saying that as if she didn't find refuge in Cuba. Internationalism is what saved her life. She believed resistance being a borderless struggle. Her issues were with cult of personality and the leadership pushing intercommunalism but lacking understanding of Black and African history.
edit: I agree on the negation of negation point though, that shyt is garbage. That shyt is the reason why I’m an afro-pessimist
