None of them is fake or an “actor”.

They're real groups that follow different philosophies, but they all owe their existence to the OG Black Panthers.

There's more than two Black Panther parties.

There's the Revolutionary (RGB) Black Panther Party, the New Black Panther Party, among other factions, and the OG Black Panther Party for Self Defense, created by Huey P. Newton, Bobby Seal, etc.

The Black Panther Party for Self Defense is the REAL one, although the aforementioned ones have taken certain philosophies of the first group and added some of their beliefs, etc.

I think some of you don't truly understand the Black Panther Party's ideology and/or only paid attention to certain aspects and imagery you liked but never delved deeper into the mentally of the group, for example, yes, first and foremost, the party's main concern is and has always been Black people and the Black community in general, with Black Power being their defining message but they're deeper than just that overall.

Fred Hampton, Huey P. Newton, etc., believed in a rainbow coalition perspective, in oppressed people fighting back against the systematic oppression, the Black Panthers had allies and connections from all races, and not to mention even overseas with certain Japanese, Soviet Union, Cuban, etc leaders.

Historically, politically, and socially speaking, they've been a Marxist–Leninist/far-left type of group.
Great posting

But to Add they REALLY fukked with Mao( they were Maoist)

They had any new member of the party carry around Maos book and STUDY IT

Ironically most of the people supporting this bullshyt agent are white liberals. :sas2:
He is and it's crazy how nobody is catching on because this dude is straight up talking about taking out ICE agents and notice how nobody is talking about him or harassing them for that. The Ol' School BPP shook the country just for showing up with or without weapons.

He only is seen going for immigrants because it's suspected he's a mixed Latino cosplaying as a Black American in the New Black Panther Party.

Within the first 30secs he tells on himself.

Referencing ICE killing and unarmed white woman...since when did the Black Panthers give a fukk about white woman? What part of the game is that? :skip:

"We're like the Black Panthers from back in the day, just more aggressive"

nikka, no you're not. Like in no way shape or form:mjlol:

Dude is clip farming. Nothing more, nothing less
Then you got posters in here posting Black Men who got kids by a White Woman. :heh:

Seriously though?

Whats his lineage?
Where is he from?
What's his real last name?

Answer those 3 questions and that'll tell me all I need to know
I'm not sure if anybody answered it, but many suspect he's Latino and that's why he's going so hard. He's cosplaying Black American to blend in.

I'm still looking into it myself because I called it as soon as I saw him.

In her book Assata Shakur said the Panthers were at their most effective when they were focused on what was going on in the Black community. She said when Huey and them got off into that internationalism bullshyt and talking about the "negation of the negation" is when they lost the people and things went downhill after that.

I've read Huey's autobiography, most of his speeches, and a good deal of the material on him, and she's right. Once he got off into the communism and seeing himself as part of some global revolutionary struggle is when alotta that shyt just stopped making sense.
Exactly. People can justify all they want to, but it was better when it was just for Black Americans. We don't have groups advocating for us and us only.

Another con from Philly ..!Umar and a birdsong lol
Philly ain't never beating those charges. Lol

So, I've been on social media and these Non-Black people are pissing me off making up history as if they were there since the beginning of the Black Panther Party before we even knew what the BPP was.

Folks, they got this con man to lure feeble minded left wing c00ns to go out there and die. Many of you are falling for it.

Ask yourself something, why aren't the Brown Berets doing a damn thing? Where's the White militia groups? Where's the Asians? Where's the Native Americans that's always calling us Africans and "wabos" who said this is there country?!

Because these Non-Black leftists are lazy cowards just like their right wing siblings!

Y'all still falling for establishment plants. Wake up!

Judging from reading the last few pages of this thread, I guess many of you would consider Huey and the Panthers to be c00ns or government co-opt based on their views:mjlol:, it kinda shows how out of tune some of you are when it comes to Black History about the foundings, origins, and ideologies of certain groups, figures, etc, despite claiming to be so in tune with Blackness.

Secondly, nobody said they are the original Black Panthers, they're not fake, rather are a different iteration of them, in other words, they've taken certain philosophies of the OG group while applying some of their own that slightly differs from the OGs, and they're not the only Panther group active in America so why are y'all soo fixated on the Philly group? There are literally a dozen more active groups across the US, some of which began in the early 90s. It's been well-known for years that these groups are not the OG Panthers; however, they have been heavily inspired by them to continue the fight.

That's how I know some of you don't even have a clue what you're talking about and exposing how unaware you are of things:mjlol: .

This group in Philly didn't just pop up; they've been around for more than a decade. It's only recently that they've gotten some press because of social media and the topic of ICE. Another thing, it doesn't matter what this Paul Birdsong used to be before forming/joining a Panther group, y'all do realize that the OG Black Panthers recruited all types of Black people to join them, the same way the Nation of Islam does?

You don't have to be a saint to fight for a cause; you could be an ex-con, a suburbanite, etc, etc They don't discriminate on which Black person is more deserving to be a part of their movements, as long as you're serious and committed.

His past is irrelevant; it's about who he is now and what he's doing for his community that's important. Fred Hampton Jr. was correct; they're not the OG group. However, he's not saying that they're illegitimate or a fake group being used for propaganda or whatever some of you are trying to imply. Rather, they're a different iteration of the Original Black Panther Party of the 60s, just like many of the others that exist. It doesn't discredit their work within the communities they serve.
