If you read the quote, he doesn't question their existence, but rather their tactics.

Everybody is posting quotes of Fred Hampton Jr saying these things, but there are no videos of him commenting on the matter, and I follow him, and he's active online; he has yet to verbally speak on the matter.

Secondly, that group in Philly is not the New Black Panther Party; there's only one group that sports that name, and they're located in Dallas, Texas.

That quote isn't authentic.

These are all the different Black Panther-inspired groups. They've been around for different amounts of years, all inspired by the OGs, as well as incorporating their own ideologies, and some were even mentored by former Panthers.

We should always look deeper to see why some of our "supposedly" people are advocating for us to crashout for other groups that rarely if ever have crashed out for us. Why do they want us out there being on the frontline for others, advocating for issues of others, when our issues continue to festure.

Example, unarmed brother's get shot by the police quite regularly, but where were these New BPP at then? Why were they not talking about tooling up and protecting ourselves from that? Yet, they speak on tooling up, because a White woman was killed by her own people's race soldiers. That is suspect.

First of all, no disrespect to Fred Hampton or his son but only Bobby Seale is the other true founder of the party itself.

Fred Hampton was a prominent Chicago charter member but Huey and Bobby are the only true co-founders of the Black Panther Party itself. If somebody is going to speak out on the existence of a Panther group, it'd be him, just as he did against the New Black Panther Party of Dallas back in the early 00s.

Secondly, I'd take Bobby's word over Hampton Jr, and no offense to him, but he and his group are no different than the group in Philly, the only difference is that he's the son of Fred Hampton, so he may feel his word has authority but he nor his father were/are official spokesmen of the OG Black Panther Party that has been defunct for decades.

Bobby Seale hasn't even spoken on this matter yet, I'd wait for him to actually give his opinion before we discredit the group in Philly and all the work they've done in their community for years.

Let's be honest most of you had no idea they even existed for years before finding out this past week, not pretending to be experts on what's real and what's not...

Another thing that is soo funny is how many of you got a lot to say about Black people who actually are out on the streets putting their lives on the line for their communities.

It's like I mentioned, House Negros are afraid to fight the White man, and whenever they see Black people (Field Negros) deciding to take arms and stand up against the White man's aggression, House Negros do everything in their power to stir people away from rising up and joining the fight.

It's like that quote in the picture talking about “we shouldn't be standing up against ICE with guns”. Well, I guess the OG Panthers shouldn't have stood up to the police with the guns in their faces either...

Generally speaking, a lot of posters on here are just House Negros afraid to stand up and fight the power but rather conform to it and then as always extra critical of Black people willing to give their life if it means fighting for what's right and got to the nerve to tell them how they should go about fighting when your asses are sitting down, eating, and getting fat being a good lil House Negro protecting the White man's system.

They're walking the streets with guns in their hands even though the police, ICE, etc are all out there and they know the risk that brings them, but they're willing to take it. Why? 'Cause they got heart, something many of you don't have anymore, and that's considering if any of you ever had it.

Unlike some of you fools, I'd die for this shyt, if it means fighting for my community, and I stand on that, shyt if I lived in Philly I'd join them, without question, stand with them strong, ain't no running or turning back. How many of you would put your life on the line for the Black community, huh? I only see my hand in the air, I don't see anybody else's. Negros with no fight inside them are always trying to tell those who do how they should go about fighting. It's comical.

Shyt, I would rather stand for something than stand for nothing. That's the problem with too many Black folks these days, don't have the heart or the courage to do something, just would rather play “cool” to get along, which we've been doing for decades, and look where it's got us. Too dayum submissive and complacent.

That was the tweet that was making it's rounds saying dude in the OP is an agent and not a real representative of the BPP. I'm the one who questioned the legitimacy of her claiming to have gotten a phone call from Fred Hampton Jr. If it's really all that, you should be asking why is Fred Hampton jr. associated with her?
