No disrespect taken, and none given back...These 4 tracks are fire tracks to you? They don't hold a candle to Ruler's Back or U Don't Know which are incredible.

This isn't some Hov vs. Nas shyt, but this is more cohesive, more influential album than anything Nas has done post-1996. I just think Jigga's reign as the most successful rapper in that era made people overrate it. I've seen ppl call it the best album all time which is just absurdity.

24th anniversary coming up

I told this story a billion times but i love telling it

I couldn’t wait to wake up for school the next day. I planned to go and skip the rest of the day. Before i left at like 12pm. I went to library rushed to Sohh for reviews (i avoided the bootleg). shyt was a instant classic based off posts. Song Cry was considered the best song and Renegade was disappointing to alot. There was no murdered… Anyways as im leaving the library. The librarian got panic in her voice.

She screamed
“The plane crashed into the building”

Im like damn she tripping lol

I catch the bus. Go to target. Get back on the bus. Put my headphones and was wowed instantly. Just vibing with no idea of what is going on. I didnt know the ramifications of 9/11 til i turned on espn and saw abc news. But i knew shyt was real real was Cartoon Network had cnn on
