I made this thread for fans of all NBA teams to come and share their thoughts regarding the Eastern Conference behemoths, known as the The Cleveland Cavaliers. :wow:

They have reigned over the EC for the better part of 15 years and I don't see it stopping any time soon.

I'm sure there will be tons of hate because a lot you bish ass nikkas were born that way. But I don't give a fukk. Tristan Thompson told me the East goes through Cleveland and I agree with him.

Why would he say such a thing if he didn't believe it? He's in practice and sees unbelievable things going on.

Cavs are basically going to Brooklyn Nets route last season with better personnel. Move and share. Defend and run. I see them winning the East with a record of 51-31, with Boston and Toronto closely behind.

Your thoughts?

We back y’all post Lebron era again let’s see how we do this season I’m expecting huge numbers from Love and Sexton is the future...Let’s lock up Nance long term and change the culture.

I’m down to show case guys like Hill/JR/Hood/Korver and others with hopes that we can turn them into either a longer term piece for a playoff push or a future assets if we fall out of the playoffs.

Sexton, Hood, and Nance have all the physical tools and skill. A lot depends on their mentality this season, especially on defense. If they decide to use their youth and athleticism to rock out on defense, it could mean a lot.

I think Cedi will improve but he won't make a big leap.

I think Love will do his thing, get a lot more touches but drop in efficiency.

How much Hill, JR and TT have left in the tank will be interesting. JR shouldn't be better than a backup at this point. TT is young but has looked worn down a lot the last couple years. Hill is only 32, but started sucking when he went to the Kings and can't seem to pull out of that.

Clarkson shouldn't be allowed to do anything other than provide scoring off the bench.

Sexton
Hood
Cedi
Love
TT/Nance

If that lineup works with Sexton playing at a solid NBA-starter level and Hood, Cedi, and either TT or Nance balling out on defense, I can see this team breaking into the playoffs. But if it doesn't work because at least two of Sexton/Hood/Nance aren't fulfilling their potential, I don't see anyone else being a game-changer and this team might only win something like 29 games.

A lot of people don’t realize how taxing it is on some of these players to play so deep into the playoffs every season it’s damn near like the NBA season is all year long...I’m hoping that with expectations kind of limited some of these guys (Hood/Clarkson/Nance/Osman) will be a bit more productive especially a guy like Hood whose playing in a contract year.
