The Cavs should consider starting Wade at point and making IT the 6th man

Not trying to be reactionary but Dwade runs the point better than any other player on that team except Lebron. He’s also a rhythm player its tough for him to play off the bench like that. Especially since Lue’s rotations are dodo. Brought him in around 8min in the first half..then brings him in around the 5min mark in the second half. How the fukk is Wade supposed to find a flow when he doesn’t even know when he’s coming in?

IT on the otherhand just needs to go back to being a 6th man. Just worry about offense. He’s a good passer but not a good playmaker. And more importantly he’s compromising their D. You can also see he’s struggling mightily with the Warriors length. And that’s gonna be a problem with any team with long wing defenders... even when he “gets his legs”

they cant run some plays because Kevin love is not built for PNR he is built for pick and pop..(which they cant run as much)

if they had the threat of a Lob pass, then it would open up more options to the ball handler on PNR.. right now.. on PNR.. love is highly likely to be blocked and the pass has to be son precise..anything off mark = TO.

the only guy that can get the ball just about anywhere on PNR is Lebron..which IT found him twice yesterday....

they need a mobile big to give them more offense plays..bring love back at the 4 and only play himt he 5 when they need to stretch centers.

i was impressed yesterday.. dude got to the paint at will..but he decision making is impaired...also his shot is not falling... however,, he can get around traffic like nothing... imma give him 10 more games

My nikka I know you’re not the biggest Wade fan he did finesse the Bulls something fierce. But I know you know that Wade and Bron are interchangable. If Bron runs point Dwade plays offball and cuts the rim something he’s alltime great at. And Wade can handle the ball and take pressure of Bron too...allow Bron to play off ball.

Wade was wrecking havoc on the Warriors in the first half, finding shooters, slicing to the rim and getting steals and deflections. He brought alot more than IT.

Plus no one said IT won’t play. Just let him be Lou Will the Cavs are expecting way too much out of a 5’8 pg

I agree with alot of your post. But IT isn’t maximizing that offense. He’s not finding shooters...not running pick and roll, he’s just trying to get it going. If you gonna be a tunnel vision scorer you’d damn well better be dominant with it the way Kyrie was or else your squad is gonna suffer.

More time isn't going to make him any less a massive liability on defense.

he aint better than kyrie..they cant change that.. but GS was shrinking the floor when wade was on the court.. they forced him to shoot a bunch of mid ranges and won the game like that.. IT can shoot the mid range and the 3...at the very least.. the score would have stayed close instead of bubbling..

to me .. yesterday was positive.. MLK day is usually a total MASSACRE... this time.. cavs was up until they started missing in the last quarter... Ideally you want a big that can stretch the floor.. but none of them are available...but still they need a big both side of the court for part of the game to diversify the offense.

IT...maybe and hopefully Drose. If Drose can play he changes that dynamic. He’s got size and foot-speed too keep up and can actually play a little D when engaged
