I missed it. What happened at the wbc?

Some people felt a type of way about all the celebrations DR had every time they got a hit, drove in a run, struck out someone. Some people felt like they were being shown up by them.

Then after a bit, people took a step back and realized that this was something all the Latin American countries did, so while even a team like PR felt like DR was goin ham, they understood where they were coming from and knew it was all love at the end of the day which is why right after DR celebrated the title, Yadier Molina brought the whole team out to congratulate them

When the fans and players are going nuts, baseball is 10000 times more enjoyable. The game wasnt meant to be played buttoned up. Watching the LAtino teams and the fans in the WBC was way more entertaining than the US team. Living and dying with every pitch is what makes baseball an awesome sport. My buddy went to a game at the Marlins stadium and basically switched sides ala the Russians in Rocky IV.

These were the fans right after DR beat USA

You MIGHT see this during the end of a game 7. MIGHT

You can't replicate that raw emotion, on or off the field. There's Dominicans that want Tampa Bay to win the World Series just so Fernando Rodney can stunt one more time

EDIT: DR cutting promos and shyt in Spanish. Veras got bars :russ:

I don't even watch baseball anymore. I might catch a recap on the news and look up the score for a game.

Hence my beef with the new Yankee Stadium....it kills the sport on the field.

Atmospehre in all of pro sports is in the shytter its just the way it is nowadays

To get a great atmosphere anymore you need a team whos been shytty for decades to be a good agian that why watching playoff games in Pittsburgh will be awesome
