I used to work at Honda North America R&D. They like conformity to the point that everyone had to wear white overalls. Whether youre the janitor or the CEO.

Being slower to adopt new trends/tech is what keeps thosr two more reliable compared to Korean, German and American cars. They’d rather do more testing and it’s safe to say it’s been working in their favor. I can see why people think they’re “boring” cars tho.
