The Coli Holiday Toy Drive thread

Hey yall,

You know I'm always thinking about ways that we can give back.
Why don't we start a toy drive for Christmas for our black kids in poverty, and put our collective efforts together to create some positive change in our communities.

I got something for the duns, I will donate like 20 books, something in the 20-30 dollar range. It doesnt have to be expensive but there is no price limit. I would honestly rather have a bunch of small gifts that can be widely distributed rather than a small amount of expensive gifts.

And we can mail them ourselves to a respectable organization to distribute, somewhere we all agree on. I suggest Boys and Girls Clubs, because they are everywhere, but we can dialogue on that and gain a consensus and move forward. Thats just a suggestion.

why not coli members from the same area decide on a specific boys and girls club and set up their own drive, that way we can have a bunch of mini drives throughout the country.

My personal goal is to reach as many children as possible. If we get a good participation rate, like a 100 gifts, I would pay someone a hundred to coordinate the mailing of the gifts and shyt.
