The Coli killed the other forum?

so listen people, i just got a new job where i am on my computer alot and wanted to start posting on a hip hop/sports forum again. it really is between "The Coli" and "The IC". i was once a member of the IC but when i went to check it out recently i saw a barren shell of a website where the IC used to be. it was nothing but decaying bodies and destruction as far as the eye could see. threaded burned to the ground and forums smashed to rubble. it seems as though the all star posters of the forum formerly known as the IC have fled, and their whereabouts are unknown. perhaps they ended up here? i just hope they are all safe. word on the streets is that "The Coli" is responsible for the murder of "The IC". i aint no snitch, but the streets been talking and thats whats up. anyways, i would appreciate some input before i make my final decision and take my talents to one forum or the other.

I'll tell you one thing that helped destroy the IC, the fukkin reaction feature being added.

I'm not a big fan of the "dap" system here. Or the pos/neg repping. Not just because I get negged a lot either...



I just think it induces people to have no response to posts, or to formulate their own opinion. I disagree, I neg. I agree, I dap. Kind of weak.



But the IC took it a whole step further. They have reactions for every post. You can "cosign, nosign, ether, LoL, wtf, goat" like breh you kidding? When do you ever have to make an actual post with all those options?

So yeah, that contributed to its downfall big time, especially for the Donkey, as a poster named Dizz was saying last night.

I have many other things to say about he Death of the IC, we'll see if I feel like sharing.

I think I went back to that site everyday for like 8 months straight expecting it to come back. Finally just gave up and went lurking on SOHH since I didn't have a paid e-mail.

It sucked for a while when it finally came back. But eventually it made a slight come back in quality. Donkey was pretty funny for a minute.

Think I went there a couple times and it was a ghost town. Threads that would be popping here would be like 2 or 3 pages over there. Never had a desire to return either after the 'upgrade'. Coli goes down for like a day or two for upgrades, them mf'ers damn near took a year.
