I don't go out telling kids that white supremacy is to blame for everything, I wouldn't dare. Majority of the things I discuss here when it comes to race wouldn't be discussed with kids.

The Coli is filled with adults so I don't see the need to sugar coat and gloss over the truth. It's my opinion that all Black adults should have a good understanding of white supremacy and how it operates, otherwise the tactics being used against us will go unnoticed meaning we won't actively be able to fight against them or even know what they look like when we're faced with them.

I would love to see kids of color flourish, and I play my part in making it happen.

:manny:

maybe not you, but the majority of the coli does. dont underestimate the amount of kids on the coli either. plenty of dudes under 21 with very impressionable minds on here.

I'm not a segregationist per se but I can tell you that a majority of Americans favor somewhat limited segregation to an extent (whether openly or subconsciously)

Martin Luther King even began to realize this shortly before he was killed.

I remember the last time we were together, at my home, shortly before he was murdered. He seemed quite agitated and preoccupied, and I asked him what the problem was. "I've come upon something that disturbs me deeply," he said. "We have fought hard and long for integration, as I believe we should have, and I know that we will win. But I've come to believe we're integrating into a burning house."

Based off of what? The current economic situation which lead to segregated neighborhoods, stereotype, xenophobia and ignorance? That's what you should be trying to break, not encourage.
I'm not encouraging it, I'm just saying that the current climate in the US is against de jure segregation but often is very de facto segregated based on race/ethnicity.

Oh I know, and I gave the reasons why.
