I have seen a couple of threads where folk been asking to improve they skills. I am a traditionally trained artist and I want to help yall on out on tha cool. So those who are interested, this is the thread to watch and participate in.

Supply list:

Newsprint Pad
Charcoal sticks of various hardness and softness
Graphite Pencils
Workable Fixatif
Fixatif
Kneaded Eraser
Tortillion Stump

This will be strenous and your hands will hurt. But once you learn about the value scale, how to use the value scale, then we move toward to techniques applied to light andthen we start the hard shyt....CHIROSCURA

I will give my all to this thread and those who participate.

Every Friday we will have qroup critique.

I will teach drawing, painting, printmaking and even how to build wood panels.

I wanna be a positive poster on The Coli so this is my 1st Thread....my gift to my Black People

I hope yall will join my class. It starts on Monday 27th of June and will run the rest of the year of 2022. I will continue to teach yall as long as The Coli exists. Let's GEAUX!!!!!!

Well Im not that great at Calligraphy, but yes you will be able to apply the skills and tech to it. Handwriting is a fine art too! Do I have you enrolling?

I only do digital shyt tho. Everything else is too messy. What's on the list, teach?

First thing first is to gather those supplies. Im teaching drawing. Because if you can draw, you can paint.

Im not sure, but teaching is teaching. You just gotta format it to the student. But lemme check it out.

When I was im college at Morgan State, I had bought beacoup books on drawings...they really aint help me. What helped me is understanding what I was drawing. That what Imma do for yall.

I will be starting soon, as a complete beginner. I wouldn't mind referring some of my attempts here but a bit later in the year as anything I post will be pure trash.


I recognize your piece in the OP as creative works, I don't find myself so creative, I just wish to replicate what I see in person down to paper, and eventually reach a bit of fantasy. So starting from basic architecture/landscape replication to something like this eventually: Paul Chadeisson - Portfolio

For right now you will just need those supplies. Once we finish drawing, we will move on to other muses. Im really gonna give yall college level teaching via forum

Breh if I can interject, I think most of us just want to learn how to draw cleaner lines and actually make something look decent. Idk if nikkas want to go to Michael's and buy abunch of shyt to learn how to render, etc.
