The Comedy Continues: New WWE Survey: NXT vs Main Roster

PWinsider reports that WWE sent a survey to mailing list subscribers yesterday and asked them to compare the main roster product (RAW, Smackdown) to NXT’s product. It was sent to see how familiar fans are with NXT, what about NXT they like. They were asked to rank their enjoyment of the same aspects on the main roster.

One question asked fans to select terms to describe NXT and the main roster. Those terms included: Energy, Authentic, Hardcore, Fantastical, Unique, Hokey, Excitement, Dangerous, Wrestling, PG-rated, Shocking, Quality, Technique, Wholesome, Fun, Unpredictable, In-Ring Action-Driven, Social, Action, Nostalgic, Mindless, Giving Promos, Intense, Passion, Old School, Imaginative, Safe, Success, Family friendly, Potential, Story-Driven, Younger, Cutting Edge, Real, Simple, Fast Paced, Mainstream, Traditional, Gritty.

There were also questions about what fans liked and disliked the most about WWE and NXT, with enough space for fans to voice opinions. They also wanted to know how much money fans spent on NXT live events and merchandise compared to the main roster. It also asked if WWE or NXT did a better or equal job at the following:

*Seeing good rivalries/match-ups
*Feeling part of a large group of passionate fans
*Getting an appropriate amount of surprises
*Being amazed
*Being amused
*Being entertained
*Having a great show to watch with family
*Having a great show to watch with friends
*Seeing a wide variety of Divas
*Seeing enough of my favorite Divas
*Watching athletic moves and maneuvers
*Seeing the quality of in-ring wrestling I want
*Hearing compelling dialogue/promos
*Getting the right mix of unique characters
*Seeing a wide variety of Superstars

Ive heard of getting hit with the rubber hammer but to set yourself up to be hit with it is ridiculous.

Everyone knows whats wrong with Raw and its not the roster. Its the lack of progress theyve made in 10 years. This is a compound problem that will not have a quick fix (Daniel Bryan alone is not a fix).

I wouldn't say that but If they are going to try to make NXT bigger than what it is you can't expect Vince to continue to be hands off.
