It's simple: A character/Team is pitted against another in an all out battle to determine a victor. The Winner is based on votes, matches last 24-48 hours, & are replaced by the next requested bout. If there are any stipulations they'll be posted on the match.

Batman was in the first suggestion. As for the reasoning, I agree even though Bruce is a better martial artist, Blade is simply too fast.
