A few days ago I came upon this story.

NYPD cops warned militant group Black Guerilla Family ‘preparing to shoot on-duty police officers’

An NYPD confidential informant learned of the threat on Friday evening — three days after a Staten Island grand jury decided not to indict Officer Daniel Pantaleo for the chokehold death of Eric Garner. Cop union confirmed the threat late Saturday and were ordering all police officers, on duty and off, to take extra precautions.

Stephanie Keith for New York Daily News NYPD cops have been warned to take extra precautions after the department learned a militant group is planning to shoot on-duty officers.

A tattooed gang of militants declared open season on the NYPD in the wake of the Eric Garner grand jury decision, according to a threat a police union verified Saturday.

Ten Black Guerrilla Family members are “preparing to shoot on duty police officers,” Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins said.

The gang, formed in the 1960s in the California prison system, recently surfaced on the East Coast and Maryland, where members are at the heart of a drug-trafficking and corruption probe within the Baltimore prison system.

Members swear allegiance for life and sport “BGF” tattoos, as well as ink depicting a dragon surrounding a prison tower, according to gangs.org.

An undercover NYPD cop learned of the hit put out on officers Friday evening — three days after a Staten Island grand jury decided not to indict Officer Daniel Pantaleo in Garner’s death. Homicide cops confirmed late Saturday night that the gang was gunning for officers.

Union leaders ordered all officers, on duty and off, to take extra precautions.

“Please WEAR your VESTS and carry your firearm off-duty along with additional magazines,” Mullins said in an alert. “Your priority is to go home at the end of your tour!”

Gary He for New York Daily News Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins (center) said he does not believe the threat is directly related to the Eric Garner decision.
Mullins does not believe the threat is directly related to the Garner decision.

“I think it’s related to the whole atmosphere,” he said. “Who knows if there’s a lone wolf out there or a small group that wants to do something.”

This was in early Dec and if you read the articles on this story, NYPD deemed the threat not credible, and that there wasnt a direct threat to them because only Cali and Baltimore being directly involved.

I thought how arrogant of them to so easily dismiss something like this as the connection between Baltimore and New York can definitely bring it to your doorstep in 3 hours time.

Then this happens.

New York is about to cook:wow:

Heres the article:

Black Guerrilla Family not a ‘credible’ threat ‘at this time’: NYPD

MIKE SEGAR/REUTERS New York City Police NYPD officers do not face a credible threat from the Black Guerrilla Family “at this time,” says a department spokesman.

There is no credible threat that members of a militant gang known as the Black Guerrilla Family are planning attacks on NYPD cops, officials said Sunday.

“We are aware of the reports of this anonymous general threat against police. However, at this time there is no information to indicate that this is a credible threat against the NYPD,” a Police Department spokesman said.

The department was responding to reports confirmed by Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins that 10 members of the Black Guerrilla Family gang, which was formed in the California prison system in the 1960s and recently resurfaced on the East Coast and Maryland, had declared open season on cops.

The gang members were “preparing to shoot on-duty police officers,” Mullins said on Saturday.

Black Guerrilla Family members were “preparing to shoot on-duty police officers,” SBA President Edward Mullins said on Saturday.

On Nov. 25, a police department outside of New York received a threat through an anonymous 911 call, an NYPD spokesman said.

The call, which was made to the Baltimore police department, threatened violent retribution against“cops” but did not name a specific department, according to a police source.

After an official assessment, it was determined that there was no credible or direct danger to NYPD officers, an NYPD spokesman said. The department is continuing to monitor any new threat information as it surfaces, the spokesman said.

New York Daily News Letter being deseminated to policemen in NYPD as to a direct threat from a criminal gang after the Eric Garner grand jury deciscision on Staten Island.

The threatening call was made a day after a grand jury in Ferguson, Mo., declined to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the killing of unarmed teen Michael Brown, police said. That decision came a week before a Staten Island grand jury’s Dec. 3 decision not to indict NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo in the chokehold death of Eric Garner, who was being arrested for allegedly selling loose cigarettes.

Members of the Black Guerrilla Family swear allegiance for life and are branded with “BGF” tattoos and depictions of a dragon surrounding a prison tower, according to gangs.org.

The notorious gang is currently at the center of a drug-trafficking and corruption probe in Baltimore, where the threat was made.

Well, they're racist as shyt, but I wouldn't say dumb. They're making a play to both weaken his perceived pro-protester stance, AND/OR, to simply weaken him in general so they can get another bigot in office next time.

De Blasio may not be perfect (Just like 2 days ago, he and Bratton heavily defended "Broken Windows", and the fact that Bratton is even still there is cause for alarm)....but he *has* shown sympathy towards the movement, these pigs CANNOT STAND that. They are so used to everyone babying them and all this "Nations Finest" horseshyt....the fact that the mayor is even willing to listen to critiques of them weakens them as a gang.

It's pretty calculated. And the media seems to be eating it up. Notice how much play the worthless, non-event of the officers turning their back on him has gotten. Why is everyone focused on that? Hell, their seems to be more criticism of De Blasio right now than there is of the fukking shooter.

I'm wondering what his next move is.

Truthfully, between Christmas, New Years, Sony Hack, Cuba, Isis, etc etc etc...I don't think this story is going to hold up as strongly as the police want it to. But we'll see.
