I Really Mean It

This is seems to have been written by a black person who places too much stock in what cacs think about her. If we had an actual community, one in which we were unified and shared a concern for one another, we wouldn't look to white liberals for solutions to the problems plaguing us. We're constantly looking outside of our people for answers, never seeking them within, focusing on how others treat us and what they're doing instead of looking in the mirror and asking ourselves, "What are we doing wrong? How can we change this?" It's because of an underlying belief of inadequacy - inferiority, even - that too many of us harbor.
