"tHe CuLtUrE" ™️ being mistaken as culture has gotta be one of the most annoying things in existence today

I've seen enough. Let's be clear:

"The Culture"™️ is a commodity. It's BRANDING financed & pushed by outsiders. Examples would be the hip hop songs so many of yall reference. Consumerism pushed by companies (what yall think they don't target the market?!), etc. "The Culture" doesn't extend beyond most of our lives.

Black American culture on the other hand extends for centuries... it's everything from call and response to "when I say hey, you say ho", nodding your head what's up to a breh you don't even know, black eyed peas and greens on new years, knowing exactly what to say when your parents ask who the fukk you're talking to when you respond with with yes/no or :merchant: WHAT?

On and on and on... Idk if more brehs need to talk with their elders or what, but this shyt has gone off the rails. Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.
