As we are approaching 4K capable media versions of Xbox One and PS4. We have not heard plans from Sony specifically and Microsoft about beefing up their network infrastructure to support 4K content. For example, 4k related Media such as movies sizes up to over 40 to 50 GB easily and PSN more than likely will not be able of support that load especially with online gaming related 4K gaming textures/videos.

Is there anyone worried about PSN and Xbox Live once the new systems arrive? It is commonly known that PSN cap most people speeds between 15 to 20 and that will have to change.

This is a serious inquiry that nobody talking about. This shyt will be an overload.
The Internet infrastructure can't handle it, so no point in worrying about the systems

That is why I am under the assumption that the new upgrades will only include a UHD Blu Ray and probably a better processor. I just can't see it happening this early 4k is extensive especially on ISP like Comcast who was capping my Netflix streams

Why do you assume the army of network and server engineers aren't aware of potential load? Plus streaming will not be as bandwidth heavy as a BluRay disc

Online games are communicating positional and input information. Not all the textures and polygons. That's being handled locally.

As far as movies and streaming. The whole US infrastructure ain't ready for that lol.

Yeah I'm not even thinking about this shyt until North American ISPs stop offering shytty service. Get rid of bandwidth caps for starts. I'm not DLIng 50 GB movies when I have a monthly cap of 200 GB. :skip:
