Report: Dallas Cowboys CB Kelvin Joseph cleared in murder investigation
Joseph is expected to report Monday for the start of Cowboys training camp after cooperating with police in their investigation of a March drive-by shooting in East Dallas.
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph has been cleared in a local murder investigation stemming from a March drive-by shooting, according to a report from the team’s in-house media.
Joseph is expected to report to the team Monday and be fully available for the start of Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, California. A league source told Yahoo Sports on Sunday that the NFL is still monitoring Joseph’s legal cooperation with the Dallas police department, which sought him for questioning in April, nearly one month after he was identified among a group of men that had been suspected to be involved in the March shooting death of Cameron Ray outside the OT Tavern in East Dallas.

Im Always goin be hype at the start of a new season but this the lowest of expectations I felt since I can remember. It’s not eve. Cuz of the talent but because of the way we’re ran. That shyt with Zeke still bothers me. I heard a Dallas podcaster say exactly how I feel about it. Either all or nothin. If Zekes hurt I hope it’s either for the season or he don’t get hurt at all because they completely blunder and mishandled that situation. Zeke can’t play through injuries.
