Tyson Dux recently spoke with the Shining Wizards Podcast and revealed some of the restrictions he and the other competitors had during the recent WWE Cruiserweight Classic.
"We had agents. We had to deal with agents as well and plan it out," said Dux. "I know for me personally, I wanted to do a stalling suplex from the second rope and they completely scrapped that. They said no way can you do that."
Dux continued, "For whatever reason, Me & Zach were supposed to be 50/50 right up to the end and it was more of a showcase for Zach which is understandable, right? I get it. There weren’t major handcuffs put on, but they did want to steer the ship the way they want to steer it. So as we go along and get more progressive into it, they’re easing up on it.”
As he elaborated further, he revealed the fact that some competitors chose to do their own thing and ask for forgiveness afterwards, as opposed to telling the agents about it ahead of time.
And that was the loser environment. Their gonna have to build "stories" and have less time on RAW. Allegedly only 6 competitors actually got signed to RAW ...
Following the conclusion of the first annual WWE Cruiserweight Classic on the WWE Network this past Wednesday, the actual launch of the red brand exclusive division is scheduled to go down this coming Monday night at RAW in Memphis, Tennessee.
While there have been lists of talent that will be included in the division reported in the past, WWE recently confirmed that the following six competitors will be among those that compete for the new WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
* Brian Kendrick
* Rich Swann
* Gran Metalik
* Cedric Alexander
* Lince Dorado
* Noam Dar
Additionally, the first-ever WWE Cruiserweight Champion, TJ Perkins, who also won the aforementioned WWE Cruiserweight Classic tournament this past Wednesday night, will be on hand at Monday's RAW in Memphis.
Join us here this Monday night for live coverage of RAW from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dorado, Dar, Alexander, and TJP aren't entertaining.
