Injury updates: Dwyane Wade, Josh McRoberts fully practice:
Dwyane Wade’s calf injury should not keep him out of Saturday’s game at Philadelphia, and power forward Josh McRoberts might be ready to make his Heat debut.
Miami is listing Wade’s issue, which occurred in the third quarter of Wednesday’s opener, as a bruised left calf. He called it a muscle spasm and said he was not hit in the calf on the play. Shortly after the game, he said he did not think it would be a problem going forward. The Heat announced today that he was a full participant in this morning’s practice.
So was McRoberts, which is big news since he was out all preseason with lingering pain in the big toe on his left foot. He had surgery to remove bone spurs in his toe in April and had not gone through a full-contact portion of practice since signing with Miami.
McRoberts is one of the most interesting pieces Miami has and he figures to be in the starting lineup when ready. It is unknown whether he will be active against the 76ers.

Wade struggled offensively (4-18) in a 18-point victory against the 76ers but that didn't stop him form moving the ball around and getting teammates involved. Wade led the team in assists (10) tonight to help make up for such a poor shooting night. Just didn't seem to be going in for Dwyane tonight, good thing the Miami Heat had 4 different players to score 15-plus points including a 30-point game from Chris Bosh.
