Bruh… gtfoh

I’ve seen clips of Wayne recording shyt straight off the top of his head. Writing verses on live shows to help out songs he’s not even on.

And yall get this ghostwriter shyt twisted. Have yall ever done a recording for a record? Or at least a sit in on one? When youre making an album, you bounce ideas and collaborate on multiple songs. Reference tracks included. Nobody gives af about Gillie rapping and I definitely think Wayne aint scared of no fukking gillie

There’s a big difference in the way Wayne sounded from Carter 1 to Cater 2. Carter 1 came June 2004. Carter 2 December 2005. Carter 1 he rapped like Gillie saying “ the boul” which is Philly slang for boy. In 2005 he sounded different cause Currency was writing his raps. Wayne don’t even remember his verses. Cause he had writers during his run.

Bruh.. Wayne doesn’t write :what:

Currency wasn’t fukking writing for him either, he was COLLABORATING

No, Currensy was featured on several of Lil Wayne's songs, but he did not write them:
  • Dedication 2, The Suffix: Currensy was featured on Lil Wayne's mixtape Dedication 2, The Suffix.
  • Unreleased songs: Currensy was featured on several unreleased songs while with Young Money.
  • Grown Man: Currensy was featured on Lil Wayne's song "Grown Man" on Tha Carter II
Currensy signed with Cash Money Records and Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in 2004. He also released his own mixtape, Welcome Back, in 2004.

Wayne definitely has elements of Gillie's flow on Carter 1. Besides saying bul, which isn't ghostwriting. Gillie has a way of twisting the words in ways people don't say in normal conversation or even the average rapper does.

You don't go from Wayne's in 2002 on 500 degrees to the flow he started to do in 04 without intensely AT LEAST studying the hell out of other people's flow in your proximity.

This freestyle is over 20 years old if I'm not mistaken. Because Q and Cosmic Kev stopped hosting the come up show by the early 00's.

For what it's worth, Wayne does it better. I say this as a Philly nikka.

Wayne didn’t have no blood references on Carter 1. If you a blood how come no mention of it on your album when you started calling yourself the best rapper alive?

That’s what Cash Money and a lot of labels done in this industry they find talented rapper or writers that don’t really have mainstream appeal to write or create reference tracks for the star who lack skill. Currency helped on Dedication 1 too. He was around Cash Money during a few of his mixtapes and Carter 2. Then they moved on to the next.

Bruh… thats the business

There’s a reason why the category “Songwriter” exists. It’s not a lack of talent, it’s making music. Currency is doing just fine, still in New Orleans, and I don't see none of these nikkas making hits after Cash Money “moved on to the next”.

Its studio shyt and is actually fun af. This is like getting mad for Kanye or Dre has someone make a drum pattern and they used it for a totally different song. Or they play keys and a real musician adds more to that melody. Its collaborating

And I already proved Gillie wasn’t writing shyt. Wayne was probably borrowing something Gillie did that he likes. Like I’ve said, I’ve seen Waynes recording process.. Wayne doesn't need them dudes. As you can see, not a hit since they left
