I used to be big into Madden franchise mode back in the early to late 2000s. Sad to see the decline but not surprised since they eliminated competition.

The only hope for these games is to bring back competition. You use to have so many different licensed sports games. Be like 4 mlb games and like 5 or more nfl and nba games. These companies had to make improvements. Now they're competing with themselves. The best option would be to boycott, but too many ppl still buy all this garbage. NBA 2k included.

NFL 2k5 is still the best NFL sim football game every made.

Nah, some of them Madden games had better gameplay. 2k had an arcade type feel at times to me. Madden with Ray Lewis on the cover is classic

I actually like the latest 2K, but with how demonstratively impressive games have become over the last 10 years, you’d think sports games could push the envelope too

but regarding Madden. i be in my own world playing and dont care about half of those features being in
the glitches, yeah plenty of videos showing them that occurs. but i put in many, many, hours on Madden and dont see nearly all that shiit other folks be having going on

and only 20 bucks. I still miss that game. EA GOT SCARED of 2k and bought the nfl rights with the quickness. Crazy that its been almost 20
years??
Off the top of my head there was NBA Live, NBA 2K, NBA Shootout, NBA Street
MVP Baseball, MLB 2K, The Show, MLB Slugfest

Visual Concepts used to make Madden games before 2000 when they fired visual concepts and went to garbage ass Tiburon and the series died.
2k hired Visual Concepts for football and basketball and the rest is history.
I remember EA Sports prez saying they can charge 30 dollars for the game and give it away with a ham sandwich it wont change anythign, and 2k5 came out and they said fukk competition we got to buy the rights to stay alive.
So yeah fukk EA and Tiburon and their shytty madden games, they are trash and they have done nothing to improve madden. They literally add broken features and re-introduce said "features" every 3 years as new features.
