Had no manual option so I did 25
What's the point of this thread? Of course things are higher due to inflation.

the kitchen staff at most places are severely underpaid. Waitresses are in central air all day collecting easy tip money from simps Lol
Im all for tipping, and gladly tip when warranted, but if inflation is increasing the base price of the good/commodity, why would the tip % increase?
Yesterday's $20 restaurant bill, is now $25 today due to inflation. Service being equal, why would I tip a higher % today?

I'm not team #notip, but if the price of goods and services goes up, the tip goes up by default. No need for a percentage increase...
But I have yet to see a receipt with 25/30/35% option. Restaurants have casually jumped it to 20-22% as a default which is annoying. I normally tip well but this shyt makes me curb the tip especially when it's applied automatically.
i love travelling overseas where people are insulted if you give them a tip.
If the price went up then tips shouldn't breh Lol at broke people don't tip. Overseas there is no tipping culture, tipping culture exists in north america because greedy organizations are passing the buck to you to subsidize their employees
