Lol that sounds like Puff, "if anything I hustled too hard, that's my biggest regret", or vice versa, that would be a chore to sit through. These are so glamorized and sanitized, I also think I just dislike Dre, he comes off so insincere, and has always been such a bytch. He may have the most shallow content of any of the major rap figures. I hope he's really bettering people's lives in LA through outreach or funds, not just making vanity documentaries detailing sipping bottled water on a G-5 and carrying on about a county bid 25 years ago. I kept hearing that Suge story in my head too....

Morris Levy is involved in both stories. But yeah, some kid that got fired from sweeping floors continuing to show up and get a shot at working with big-time artists...you didn't get those kinds of second chances unless you knew or were related to someone with some influence. Probably be liable to get your ass beat and thrown out. Jimmy presents it in an aw shucks way but it's not hard to read between the lines.

question since i only seen half of one episode and turned it off immediatly realizing this was gonna be some bullshyt...

did they speak at anytime about BILLIONAIRE Ted Fields the original founder of INTERSCOPE COMMUNICATIONS the media empire which had numerous radio and tv stations along with newspapers and a film company and set the foundation for FOX under Rupert Murdoch whom made a bid for a number of networks operting under the INTERSCOPE banner?

in this documentary, dre went out of his way to mention his other half brother who was killed at age 21 and warren g was never even mentioned at all in 4+ hours.

Warren G was mentioned in episode 2 as someone In the studio.

From what I've seen of BET's show they seemed a bit biased toward Suge. Any chance to lick his arse and praise him they took.

Dre is an insanely talented producer, but after watching the documentary, I realized he's never got his worth in life. Alonzo wasn't paying him shyt. Eazy was barely paying him. Suge robbed him of millions when he was there and when he left and even though he made a billion with Iovine, Iovine banked billions off of him. He's happy and I'm happy for him but I understand it. I guess it's ok to have someone in your pockets if you're making a billioin out of the deal. I'm not in that position so I don't know. I guess I wouldn't care either if a cracker got me a billion dollars and he made at least 2 billion off my name and even owns my label. (Dre ended up selling most of Aftermath back to Interscope years ago). Dre is set for life!!! He doesn't have to worry about anything anymore
